The Riaz Malik Student Research Grant is awarded each year to an undergraduate or graduate student in archaeology at a Minnesota institution.  The grant is intended to provide financial support for completion of research directly related to Minnesota archaeology. Eligible costs include lab supplies, radiometric assays and other specialized analyses. The grant award is competitive; formal proposals are required, and the successful applicant will be expected to publish a research report in a peer-reviewed journal.
